My "Lost" Month in Photos.

During our Thanksgiving feast, Nick {along with my BIL's} selected a piece of artwork painted by my Dad. This one was hanging on their wall and I asked whether all art was game. My Dad painted this one 2009 and we love the colors it has given to our living room. And not to mention Hudson has learned the names of the fruit in the bowl. Also a learning tool!

Hudson our Unhappy Garden Gnome. My husband the{perverted looking} pilot. Halloween 2011. Abby went as a spider. Again. Please refer to photos from 2010, 2009!

{Psst..that's him front & center. And no, I did not use flash photography!}
My Father-in-Law, the thespian. Juror # 4 in the production of Twelve Angry Men at our local theatre. This was his very first play and had only a mere two plus months to prepare for one of the lead roles. He did incredible. A very proud moment to see him on stage. My Parent's watched along with us. My FIL reserved front and centre table seats for us too. I think acting is now in his blood and will audition for a play in the new year. He better.

Me & my Mom holding a portion of my Sedari collection. David Sedaris live in Vancouver. I never laughed so hard in my seat. My make-up ran down my face from the gut laughs that came out of me that night. It was such a pleasure sharing this experience with my Mom.
He drew me a dog!

The best part was meeting David Sedaris in person. I lined up for 30 mins and finally met my literary idol. He smiled, was chatty and you can tell that he loved what he did for a living. Even asked me whether I started my Christmas shopping. I told him not yet. And I asked if he had. Yes. I said "well when do you find the time {the man constantly tours}." He witty snappy response was that 'he made time.' I loved it.
First evening of Daylight Savings Time. The sun was setting too early when I noticed my shadow, the bench and the tree.

My 5 year old looking older. Even with pigtails.

ps. So I'm back. Well, I've been here all along. My laptop received a new screen for Christmas. {It better not fail for atleast a couple more years, please and thanks.} It feels good to back in bloggerville. Missed you! xo
