I really can't believe my month of April is over. It's now the second week into May. This is my first post this month! Life has been busy. Too busy for my liking. I am tired and look it these days. Sometimes I wonder why all this hustling and bustling is for. Meh. I digress.
Here are some highlights which provide my happiness:
A now retired FIL and Husband happy with the Canuck's win. Observing those two on the couch was more exciting to me than the hockey game itself.
Mother's Day 2011. My special request is always breaky in bed and some quiet time. Egg on toast with coffee. I lasted about 15 minutes and only wanted to be downstairs with my family. We went to Church and later Nick sent me into a garden shop where I selected one hanging basket and various annuals for our backyard pots.
Mother's Day far surpasses Christmas and my birthday in my books. Abby decorated a wooden jewelery box {inside a sweet pink necklace and purple bracelet!} complete with a card and two handmade signs on sticks. She made these in daycare and couldn't wait. I opened it on Thursday - the moment I came home from work! It seriously brought tears to my eyes when I opened my gifts. The card was from Nick and Abby drew a maze for me.
Sharing a toy. Abby asked Hudson to pass her a toy frog. He did. I somehow caught this in action which I love. Now that Hudson is more mobile, they are quite sweet siblings together. {Most days.}
Abby in my most favorite shirt on her. {But it's getting too small on her now.}
