What Abby woke up to. Green flag made in daycare, green glasses, green-only Fruit Loops and a real four leaf clover necklace {All the way from Ireland! A lovely Irish girlfriend at work had her sister find this necklace and send it to her - how very thoughtful. Oh, I may wear it to work next year!}.
Happy leprechaun.
Don't mess with a tired and grumpy leprechaun. Hope she appreciated her Mommy separating all those green fruit loops.
Home again. Abby colored up Huddy's hat!
Yes, I know that St. Patrick's Day was almost a week ago. I really enjoy celebrating Ireland's national holiday even though we do not have a stitch of Irish blood in this family. Well, maybe Abby as she has the 'red' hair in the family. It's fun to dress the kids in green for the day. Abby's mentioned a few times that it's "Clover Day" and I call her my special leprechaun. During the day, the daycare paraded down the street clutching their green flags and wearing their homemade paper leprechaun hats.

Woohoo! I'm so impressed that you spelled it right! Paddy's Day, rather than Patty's Day. I feel like my mission is accomplished now that I've managed to educate at least a handful of Canadians as to the error of their "Patty's Day" ways! Love the post - can't believe you picked out all those green fruit loops - you're a bit of a fruit loop :) I'm glad Abby liked her necklace. xox
Aw, that is so awesome of you (and Nick) to go all out like that for St. Patrick's Day. How special of you Mommy to separate the green Fruit Loops! Looks like the Besths did St. Paddy's Day up just right!
Love you. xo Andrea
