A Baptised Boy.

Yesterday on a beautiful sunny Sunday, our son Hudson was baptised at Sacred Heart Parish. He and four other young babies/newborns (Hudson was the second oldest) were blessed by Father Emmanuel during an almost hour baptismal service. Hudson's godparent's are Uncle Cliff & Auntie Jolene (unfortunately she was on vacation so my MIL stepped in on her behalf). My entire family witnessed this baptism while the bright sunlight flooded into the stain glass windows above. Huddy wasn't squirmy or tired - he observed what was going on around him. We were very proud of him. Plus, he looked so dapper in his bow-tied outfit! It took us awhile to have our second baptised as Abby was merely three months old. Now Abby was old enough to witness her brother's baptism all from Nanny's lap!
Afterward, we celebrated with lunch and cake. It was a very special day as Nick's Grandparent's 68 {68!} Wedding Anniversary was on the very same day. And my cousin Andrea's boy Matty was baptised seven years ago. March 6th: a day for the family record books. xoxo
